Horse riding

We had a gorgeous weekend staying with friends Penny and Matt at their holiday house. Horse riding was a highlight, especially feeding the horses carrots.

To the playground and skate park

It was hot, hot, hot in Numurkah over Christmas but we still managed a trip to the playground and skate park - to try out the new scooters.

I love the photos our new camera takes. We're still trying out the best settings to take photos indoors without the flash but outside it is performing well.

Daisy seems to have amazingly strong arms.

deep concentration on the monkey bars.

Hugo doesn't want to be left out.

Fun at the skate park

Christmas at Numurkah

After breaking down on our way to Numurkah on Christmas Eve, an emergency trip to the airport for a hire car, and swift redirection of Father Christmas, we finally arrived in Numurkah in time for Christmas lunch.

Christmas morning at home, unplanned but Father Christmas managed to get there. Daisy is very pleased with her new Santa bag. She'd been asking for a Santa bag, so I made a couple out of some material I was given by Joan.

Big enough for Hugo to get in.

Fun unwrapping everything

And seeing how it all works.

A few photos

These are a few photos taken with the new camera. The computer went in to be fixed so I couldn't get to the photos for a while. These were taken at Altona beach near my office before my work Christmas BBQ.
