Bathroom progress

We're getting there with the bathroom. We can use the bath now. The next step is tiles, which we still haven't chosen and a window that we're still getting quotes for.

The skylight is currently our favourite bit. You can look straight up through it as you walk into the bathroom.

Daisy's kinder had a morning out on Sunday to the local traffic school. We all brought bikes and helmets and they spent two hours cycling round and round, stopping at traffic lights and negotiating roundabouts. Then we all had a sausage sizzle. All events seem to come with a sausage sizzle - BBQ sausages, bread and ketchup.

More pony riding

We went to St Andrew's market again this weekend because Daisy was keen to have another pony ride. This time she wanted to go on the biggest pony.

Bathroom progress

Our bathroom is progressing. The concrete around the old toilet and the toilet are out and the new floor has been started. This week should see the floor down, ceiling in and plumbing done, possibly. We've ordered most of the contents - the bath and toilet and skylight should arrive this week. The basin and vanity are about 2 weeks away and we still haven't chosen the tiles, or taps. We'll get there...

But Scott has been busy with the shed, with help from Daisy. It's up and already full.

At the park

It was a gorgeous day today, so we took advantage of Hugo waking up early from his nap and went to a different park to our local one. Daisy cycled there and back. She took these two photos of me and Hugo.

Jigsaws

Daisy can't wait for Hugo to be able to play with her. She's being very patient, trying to teach him how to play with his jigsaws. Note the pyjamas, we're often slow to get going in the mornings.

Work goes on

The store room at the back of the house is gradually being transformed into our bathroom. Here it is with the wall knocked out. The floor will be done this week, hopefully

And Scott has been busy getting the site ready to assemble our very cheap and slightly rickety shed.
