Hugo gets his toes wet for the first time. He's been watching Daisy every week since he was born and, finally, it's his turn.

Daisy and Winter dressed up as pink and blue kangaroos this evening and hopped around outside.

Then played with the cars.

Impromtu beach visit

We were in Altona collecting a light we bought on Ebay and decided to stop at the beach. We didn't have any swimming stuff with us, so we all got a bit wet.

And afterwards...

We stopped at a cafe afterwards for an ice cream

And Daisy got dry wearing an old rag - a strange old dress we were given to pad a sofa that we carted home on the roof of the car a few months ago. It's been in the boot of the car ever since. Daisy rather liked it and it's now in her dress up basket.

A first taste of baby rice

Hugo's first meal of baby rice. He loved it. He was clearly excited and had his mouth wide open, ready to help shovel it in.

And three days later he's got into the swing of it and now sits in his highchair. Daisy is keen to feed him.

Merri Creek

After a busy morning at Bunnings (B&Q), we spent Saturday afternoon at the park and walking along the Merri Creek with Claerwen, Baxter (above) and Richard and Winter. The weather was lovely, very autumnal. Daisy is making use of Winter's pushchair while he's running about.

I must have got stronger, Daisy loves piggy backs. And here is my new hairstyle. I have given up fighting against the waves and flicks and have decided to go with what my hair does best - so Farrah Fawcett it is. I hear big hair is in.
